What to expect
Celebrate the spirit of sports and the Olympic legacy at this dynamic museum on Montjuïc. Learn about the history of the Olympic Games, the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and the evolution of global sports through interactive exhibits and multimedia. It’s an inspiring space that honours athletes and promotes the values of effort, teamwork, and fair play.
Things to look out for
The museum has a permanent exhibition on the host cities of the Olympics, from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012, and enjoy the first Olympics that were broadcasted on television. On the tour you can enjoy Barcelona 92, known as the best games in history. The archive that the Olympic Museum of Barcelona has about the Olympics of "Cobi" and "Petra" is impressive, as is to be expected: from the paraphernalia of the spectacular opening ceremony.
