What to expect
Travel through Spain without leaving Barcelona at Poble Espanyol, an open-air architectural museum built for the 1929 World Expo. Explore over 100 full-scale buildings representing regions across Spain, from Andalusian courtyards to Catalan farmhouses. Inside, you’ll find artisan workshops, museums, and seasonal cultural events.
Things to look out for
Located within walking distance from the fountain of Montjuïc, the Poble Espanyol is best known for its depiction of what a typical Spanish village looks like in different regions. Enjoy the beautiful architecture as you stroll around the premises. Within the village, you can also visit the Museum Fran Daurel which features almost 300 works from famous artists including Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali.
